There is a particular kind of elegance in a colour that sits between pink and grey. The mauve embroidered stitched suit lives in that space:

From Neckline to Hem

The story starts at the neckline, where a notched opening is framed by a paisley-shaped panel of white embroidery that extends down the centre front. Narrow vertical bands of leaf and vine work run beside it, drawing the eye along the length of the kameez, which falls to a comfortable length just above the knee. Scattered motifs of single paisleys and teardrops sit between the bands, and a deep, lattice-like border of florals closes the hem. Small scalloped lace edges on the cuffs and hem add a soft finishing line.

The Dupatta and Trousers

Cleaning and Storage

Wash by hand in cool water with a mild detergent, with the kameez turned inside out. Do not soak for long or wring the fabric, and dry in the shade. Iron on the reverse side at a moderate temperature, and store folded with a layer of soft tissue between the embroidered areas.
