Product Description
The mustard embroidered stitched suit has the colour of late afternoon sun on a clay wall: warm, earthy and quietly rich. White embroidery sits on top like light on leaves, so the set feels festive without feeling heavy.
The Colour Mustard
Mustard, with a slight olive undertone, is a colour that works with the season rather than against it. It looks glowing in daylight, flatters warm and neutral skin tones and pairs naturally with white, cream and gold. It is also a colour that feels special, because it stands out from the usual pastel choices without being loud.
Embroidery Notes
The detail is spread with care. A V-shaped panel at the neckline combines eyelet cutwork with small white floral motifs, creating a decorative yoke. Across the body, tiny fleur-style motifs and small cross stitches are scattered loosely, so the plain mustard still shows between them. At the hem, a larger inverted V panel brings the richest work: layered flowers, vines and sparkling accents, finished with a scalloped edge that continues around the whole bottom of the kameez. The cuffs match with their own scalloped, embroidered trim.
Suits with this kind of festive-yet-refined finishing sit comfortably beside the pieces in our Modern Heritage collection.
The Dupatta
The dupatta has a fine, textured surface with soft horizontal lines, which gives it a lightly rippled look. Its long edges carry a wide embroidered border with a scalloped finish, and small white motifs are scattered across the field. It drapes beautifully and gives the outfit a finished, coordinated look.
Wear It For
Daytime gatherings. A mehndi lunch, a family visit or an afternoon tea suits mustard perfectly. Keep jewellery light with small drops or pearl studs and wear embroidered flats.
Festive evenings. Add gold jhumkas, a metallic clutch and heels, and drape the dupatta over one shoulder.
Seasonal wear. The colour and texture feel right through spring and into early autumn. If you would like a cooler tone for the same occasions, take a look at our sage green stitched suit.

Looking After It
Bright, earthy shades like mustard keep their glow when washed gently. Turn the kameez inside out, hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent and avoid long soaking. Do not wring, dry in the shade and iron on the reverse side, taking care around the scalloped edges. Our guide on how to care for embroidered lawn suits covers the full routine.
